Melissa Thompson recently moved to Oregon from Missoula Montana. She is a special effects makeup artist and props maker. She holds a BFA in Drawing and an MA in Prosthetic Effects. She has received awards for makeup effects at the Prosthetics Event in England and the World Bodypainting Festival in Austria. She is currently working on developing a series of short folkloric films.
