Jasmine Karcey is a cinematographer working across narrative film, television, commercials and music videos. Born and raised on Maui and in Southern Oregon, Jasmine began her career in the film industry in Oregon at 19, spending several years working in the camera department before moving into camera operating and cinematography. A member of IATSE Local 600 for ten years, Jasmine worked in the camera department on productions including The OA, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, and American Vandal. Since transitioning into cinematography, she has shot narrative features, short films, commercials, documentaries and music videos. Jasmine recently completed her debut feature as a cinematographer, BFF in 2025 which is currently in post-production. She also shot the short film My Only Friend Is a Robot Named Beans, featured at the Austin Film Festival and won the Enderby Entertainment Fellowship. In 2025, she was also awarded 4th place in the Altitude Awards presented by Women in Media. In 2025 and 2026, Jasmine served as an in-house cinematographer for Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas, creating content across the company's casinos, hospitality, and branded properties. She currently works in Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles.
