About
Perry is a filmmaker raised and based in Portland, Oregon. A recent graduate in Film and Sociology from the Portland State University Honors College, Perry has a diverse set of experience across the film production process, with specific specialties in directing, lighting, and editing.
Starting from short family films and a high school presidential campaign, Perry became fascinated with telling stories. After getting his first camera, the knack for making films only grew, with many sketches filmed and countless scripts to follow.
In his third year at Portland State University, a film Perry co-wrote, Blue (2024), received the School of Film's 1st place prize, and went on to win Best Dark Drama Film at the Oregon Short Film Festival. In the following year, a project which Perry 1st ACed, camera operated, and did extensive VFX work on titled Where We Left Off (2025) again won the School of Film's 1st place prize.
Directing, Perry has worked on narrative, documentary, live multicamera events, including two short films in post-production, a documentary titled What is Film? (2024), and seven edited multicamera videos of a live recital performance.
