Darren Hartman has two decades of film-making experience in New York, Los Angeles and Portland, OR; where he now resides. Originally focused on camera-work, his career path has led him to be the Owner and Senior Colorist of Alkemic Color with a decade of color grading experience. His credits include grading TV series In The Know (Peacock Original) and The Tiny Chef Show (Nick Jr.), feature films Cora Bora and Magic Hour (SXSW World Premieres), commercials for global brands like Adidas, Nike and Old Spice, as well as being the dailies colorist on Netflix series such as American Vandal and Trinkets. In 2025, he has worked on four projects that will be world premiering at SXSW and Slamdance 2026.
