Brendan Raher is a Portland-based producer, filmmaker, writer, and editor with more than 20 years of experience creating documentary, commercial, interview-driven, and short-form video content. Raised in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, he made his first short film at age ten and has been drawn to human-centered storytelling ever since. Through his production company, Page Ashbury, Brendan creates films and photography that help people, families, and organizations preserve their stories and communicate with greater warmth and authenticity. His current creative projects include developing a one-woman play, writing a book, producing more narrative short films, and building toward the feature film he has wanted to make for years. He joined OMPA to meet fellow Oregon creatives, collaborate across disciplines, contribute his production and storytelling experience, and become more deeply involved in the region’s filmmaking community.
