David Smith is an award-winning independent writer/director/editor originally from West Virginia where he self-produced 3 feature films and several shorts that regularly played festivals in the region. His short film State Inspection screened at festivals across the country including the Louisiana International Film Festival, the Iron Mule Short Comedy Film Series in Brooklyn, New York, and the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival. David also writes and performs standup comedy and loves taking walks with his wife Hayley and their dog, Lucky.
