May 8th – Industry Day

Come to Salem and Make a Difference!

May 8th is Film/TV/Animation Media Production Industry Day at the at the State Capitol in Salem, OR.

We will fill the halls, meet with legislators and share how our work is our livelihood and why the state’s support is so important to our economic growth! 

OMPA has been lobbying the Oregon legislature since last fall for an increase to OPIF through HB3329 so we can continue to attract production. As the legislative session nears its conclusion, May 8th is the day to make a statement about the impact our profession has on us, our families, our communities and our economy.

Yes, there will be celebrity appearances and demonstrations of our crafts all over the halls of the capitol, but the most important persuader is you and your story.

We’ll begin the day early with training and information on everything we’re doing, talking points and guidance on how and where to meet with your representatives.
