Joy Castiglione (she/her) is a multidisciplinary creative specializing in design, art + creative direction, and music supervision based in Portland, Oregon. She’s inspired by a love for the aesthetics of yesteryear; video game narratives; unapologetic bops, bangers, and jams; too-pretty-to-eat baked goods; custom typography; psychological thrillers; queer culture; and a surgically-sharp sense of humor.
Joy is a translator, not of languages, but of images, concepts, and stories. She’s spent the past decade behind the scenes distilling down business and marketing strategies into high-impact brand visuals for small and medium-sized businesses, non-profits, and Fortune 500 companies like Adobe, Crocs, Dr. Martens, GAP, and Nike.
In this next stage of her career, Joy is focusing on finding projects and clients that spark happiness. Her ultimate goal is to collaborate with other creative people to create cool stuff that inspires and delights in its authenticity…or at least earns a good laugh. From print to pixels and everything in between, she’s your go-to for brand brilliance, marketing momentum, merch magic, packaging perfection, experiential excitement, and music placement magnificence.
Joy graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2013 with a BFA in Communication Design with a partial focus in traditional printmaking.
