I’m a freelance screenwriter working in both features and television. UCLA film school grad and a member of the Writers Guild of America.

Among my feature credits are the punk rock Western Dudes, The Doors, The Mask of Zorro, Sunset Strip, the Norwegian indie Dryads - Girls Don’t Cry, and episodes of the classic comedy-horror series, Tales from the Crypt. More recently, I penned two episodes of S.O.Z.: Soldados o Zombies, an Amazon Studios Spanish-language sci-fi-horror series, and A Nashville Legacy, an original movie for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. I also wrote the epic Western video game, Gun, which was voted Best Story at the 2005 IGN Video Game Awards. Currently, I’m adapting the novel The Complete Down and Out in Seattle and Tacoma Series by Christopher J. Stockwell. In the previous century I ran an independent record label from my Los Angeles garage and directed music videos for Henry Rollins, Black Flag, Stan Ridgway, and the legendary Minutemen. In 2007 I moved to the Portland area where I continue to write, teach screenwriting, and consult. Occasionally I drink scotch with Bigfoot.
