OMPA Advocacy Committee Needs You!
For more than 40 years, OMPA has been on the front lines of film advocacy in Oregon - protecting and strengthening the incentives that bring production to our state and championing policies that support our entire creative community. Because of this work, Oregon continues to stand out as a place where stories are made, careers are built, and our industry thrives.
But advocacy doesn’t happen on its own. It takes engaged members who are willing to show up, speak out, and help shape the future of film in Oregon.
With key elections on the horizon and critical updates underway for our Film Incentive legislative strategy, this is a pivotal moment. The decisions made now will directly impact the volume of work coming into our state and the sustainability of our industry for years to come.
That’s why the OMPA Government Affairs/Advocacy Committee is looking for members ready to get involved and make a difference.
The commitment is manageable, typically one meeting per month (virtual or hybrid), but the impact is real.
If you care about protecting jobs, growing opportunities, and ensuring Oregon remains competitive, your voice belongs at the table.
Join us. Be part of the fight.
