Recap: 2019 Annual Meeting
More than 250 community members came out to celebrate Oregon's creative industry at OMPA's Annual Meeting on January 28 at the Hollywood Theatre. Looking Ahead: Major Announcements
Expanding Member Mail Distribution
In an effort to inform a wider community of people, we will be opening the weekly Member Mail distribution to our full subscriber list next week. That means triple the eyes on our members' news and projects - but still an exclusive member right to submit.
New SOFaM-OMPA Partnership
Our friends from Southern Oregon Film & Media are joining the OMPA family! SOFaM membership will soon merge with OMPA, giving their members access to all of the benefits of OMPA membership.
As an organization, SOFaM is rebranding as Film Southern Oregon to better promote the Southern region as a shooting location, connect producers to incentives and permitting, and promote local crews through OMPA’s regionally-sorted SourceOregon directory. OMPA will continue to serve as the statewide membership organization that advocates for, connects, and promotes Oregon's media production industry.
Our partnership kick-off event is planned for February 27 at Copper Studios in Medford.
If you're a SOFaM member, you'll be hearing from OMPA soon with more details and instructions about your membership and directory listings.
