OMPA's Members in Focus series celebrates the stories, personalities and work of OMPA members.

In our latest episode, Actor and Teacher Katie O'Grady shares how the Oregon production community has impacted her career, changed the lives of our local youth, and brushes her teeth with...sausage? Yeah, you'll see what we mean.

You probably recognize Katie from her work in Rid of Me, Portlandia, Everything Sucks, and GRIMM.

Katie is also the owner-operator of the beloved Acting For Kids & Teens program in Portland, where she mentors aspiring artists, and, a busy producer/director at Alcove Productions, a company she founded in 2008.

Thank you, Katie, for sharing your story with us! For more information on how you can join the OMPA community, visit ompa.org/join.
