Writer and Story Development Artist, Michael Morrison announced Thursday the release of his most recent project, the Murder Dice Podcast. Murder Dice is a 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons podcast that features hosts, Ben Albrecht, Kyle Campbell, David Golden, Camilla Morrison with Michael Morrison as the Dungeon Master (DM). Michael has been crafting the story for this podcast over the last year and expects the journey to be intense and humorous.
Michael was introduced to Dungeons and Dragons in the late 1980’s and has been running games ever since. Over the last four years he has rekindled his love for the game and has used it as a tool to challenge his story development process. With players free to make their own decisions it can steer things off course and force Michael’s creative hand to intervene and that is what pushes him as a storyteller.
“Michael is a great DM. His ability to keep our game exciting, funny, and full of emotion are second to none,” said co-host David Golden. “He works tirelessly to make the game more personal for us and has truly found his voice as our narrator. Michael’s strengths as a Story Development Artist lend themselves perfectly to crafting adventures in the Dungeons and Dragons world.”
“Dungeons and Dragons campaigns have long been one of my favorite things to write. I find the freedoms it gives me as a storyteller are unmatched. Since I have to plan for people changing the story line of my narrative I have to be prepared for anything they throw at me,” Michael said. “Creating the Podcast allows me to share my excitement with people and I am thrilled that the other hosts appreciate what I am doing.”
The Murder Dice Podcast was created with the hope of becoming one of the top Dungeons and Dragons related podcasts available online. Michael and his co-hosts have been working on creating this show for a year and believe they have found a great format and group for listeners to enjoy. Murder Dice is currently available on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher.
