AGE OF VANISHMENT PART 3 PREMIERE:
On October 30th, 2016 at 3:00PM the Clinton Street Theater will host Katie O’Grady’s (Portlandia, GRIMM) Acting for Kids & Teens third installment of the film Age of Vanishment. Following the premiere, students will attend a Halloween costume party to celebrate the completion of the trilogy. This is the 9th film Katie has teamed up to produce with local filmmakers and crew to support kids in the arts.
The Age of Vanishment was directed and edited by Vanjam Production’s Jon & Rachel Meyer. Katie O’Grady and local industry professionals provide a realistic on set film experience for students. This week long movie making workshop teaches the A-Z's of being a working actor. Students not only studied filmmaking, but were trained by NBC GRIMM’s stunt woman Kirsten Foe.
Acting for Kids & Teens is the Northwest’s most distinguished acting program for kids 5-19 years of age and offers a variety of on-going classes and workshops. Coach Katie O’Grady’s Make-a-Movie Workshop is a favorite and is produced three times a year. Throughout the year students combine with film community for on set tours, visits to casting offices, and enjoy guest speakers who actively work in the industry.
Please join The Clinton Street Theater and Acting of Kids and Teens on Sunday, October 30th at 3:00pm at to watch this action packed post-apocalyptic short film.
