OMPA Media Mixer at “The Perfectionists”
February 20 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree – $12
For our next Media Mixer, we’re putting you right on the sound stage where Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists just finished shooting. Join us Wednesday, February 20, from 6-8pm at the Warner Bros. Horizon Scripted Television sound stage in Clackamas (see map).
What’s there: 40,000 sq. ft. for shooting. 13,000 sq. ft. for prop and construction (including a mill), 7,000 sq. ft. of offices, fitting rooms, and more. Pictured below is Stage 2. Studios are welcome to inquire about rental availability.
What to expect: Warm comfort food and hot drinks (see menu below), networking, and a tour of the facility. While many of the set interiors will be deconstructed, the space is still a sight to see – and you can tell everyone you’ve been there when the show comes out!
Admission: Free for OMPA members (must be logged in). $10 in advance for non-members, or $12 at the door.
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes to both! All food and drinks are included in the price of admission. This is a preliminary menu from the caterer:
- Mini patty melts with red onion jam and homemade pickles
- Buffalo-cauliflower wings
- Carnitas tacos with pineapple salsa
- Vegan ceviche with root vegetable chips
- Sweet chili chicken skewers
- Double chocolate dessert waffles
- Drinks: Coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider
What’s the parking situation?
There are 75 spots available in the lot. You can’t park on the main road (Highway 212), but nearby side streets may have parking available. Just be sure to read any signs!
Is the venue ADA accessible?
Yes. There are accessible entrances to the venue.
Is there secure bike parking?
No, but the event is on private property. You may be able to lock your bike to a railing, or even bring it inside since the building is so large.
How can I get there by public transportation?
If you’re coming from around downtown Portland, it will take an hour to hour-and-a-half to get there on public transit. Transfers will be required, but Bus Line #30 will ultimately drop you within a few blocks. See options on Google Maps.
I’m not a member of OMPA. Can I still come?
Definitely! Non-member admission is $10 in advance or $12 at the door. OMPA members get in for free. See ompa.org/join for all the perks of being a member!
