About the Instructor

Don’t miss your chance to learn from an industry leader in immersive technology, Jim Geduldick! With an extensive track record of innovation in the entertainment, gaming, and technology markets, Jim has been sought for his creative approach to devising groundbreaking solutions in these fields.

Jim Geduldick is an artist and technologist bridging the worlds of creative storytelling and technology. As a cinematographer, director, and visual effects artist he has created projects for Intel, Epic Games, Google, GoPro, Red Bull, Hulu and many more. Previous roles as editor and visual effects artist on feature films, broadcast, music, and interactive installations have led him to work on projects with Ridley Scott, Michael Bay, and Spike Jonze.
 
He is founder and ECD of Wairua Studios, a creative production company and technology labs based in Portland and Los Angeles. At Wairua, researching and developing new capture, virtual production workflows for immersive VR/AR as well as visual and interactive experiences are the core of the studios ethos.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes to both! Lunch is included in the price of admission.

What’s the parking situation?

Mostly free street parking, although Cine Rent does have a limited number of parking spots on site. 

Where do I enter the building?

Use the second door at the front of the building.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Yes, there is a ramp at the front of the building.

Are there gender-neutral restrooms?

Yes.

Is there secure bike parking?

No, but there is room to bring your bike inside the building.

How can I get there by public transportation?

Bus lines #15 and #77 will drop you off within about a 5-minute walk of the venue.

I’m not a member of OMPA. Can I still come?
