OMPA and Hays Companies of Oregon invite you to network and celebrate with OMPA members and other prominent figures in Oregon’s film & television industry, at an event to celebrate the firefighters who serve our communities, with a special screening of “Into the Fire” at The Hollywood Theatre in Portland, Oregon.

Members of Oregon’s creative industries are invited to be our guest for a reception with drinks and appetizers hosted by Hays Companies at 3:30, and documentary film screening at 4pm. Following the screening, the OMPA and the Governor’s Office of Film and Television present the results of a study measuring the economic impact of the film, video and broadcast industries on the state of Oregon at a meeting of the Oregon Media Production Association at 6pm.

“Into the Fire” is a documentary by Academy Award®-winning documentary filmmaker Bill Couturie that celebrates the commitment, sacrifice and dedication of firefighters who risk their lives to save others. The documentary also serves to raise consciousness about the funding challenges facing the fire service, and inspires communities to support their firefighters with more resources and understanding.
